Every year, Men Mending Men in the Community gathers families around the table for an evening that matters. Dinner with Dad is a catered celebration built around one simple but powerful act: honoring the men who choose to show up.
This isn't just for biological fathers. It's for every man who has stepped into a role of leadership, protection, and love — by blood, by choice, or by calling.
Fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers & chosen family
Coaches, teachers & academic mentors
Pastors & faith leaders
Any man who shows up and makes a difference
Sons & daughters of all ages
Spouses & partners
Athletes & students
Anyone shaped by a positive male role model
In a world that never stops moving, intentional family time is one of the first things we lose. Work demands, crowded schedules, and endless noise pull us away from the people who need us most.
Dinner with Dad creates space to breathe — to look a man in the eyes and say: we see you, we need you, and we love you
— Elder Michael K. Yarbrough, Ministry Director, MMMIC

His story is living proof that no man is beyond redemption. Ken Ginlack, CEO of Serenity Inns, went from addiction to licensed therapist — and now leads Milwaukee's most vital men's recovery missions.

She's been called a guardian angel — and Milwaukee truly knows why. Mother Julia Means has spent 40+ years as a parish nurse and community healer, wrapping families in faith-rooted care, womb to tomb.

When violence had no answer, he showed up anyway. Pastor Marty Calderon has spent over 20 years on Milwaukee's streets restoring broken men, families, and whole communities through the power of faith.
Our events aren't just gatherings — they're the heartbeat of Men Mending Men. Every program is designed to cultivate connection, healing, and
purpose.
Check back regularly — we're always adding new dates, locations, and opportunities to connect. Times and locations can change.
