Men Mending Men in the Community is a faith-based nonprofit walking alongside men as they heal, grow, and lead — through brotherhood, accountability, and the transformative power of faith.

Men Mending Men in the Community was born from lived experience — the deep knowing that transformation is possible, and that no man should have to navigate it alone. We believe in the power of community, the strength of faith, and the courage it takes to choose a different path. Rooted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, we create safe, structured spaces where men can connect, grow, and give back — no matter where they're starting from. When a man is restored, his family is restored. When families are restored, communities follow.

Whether you have a skill to share or simply want to show up for a brother, our volunteer opportunities put your gifts to work. Help us run events, mentor men in transition, or serve your neighbors.

Membership means more than belonging — it means accountability, access, and a network of men committed to growth. Join a growing movement of men building better lives and stronger communities.

Your generosity fuels everything we do. From healing circles to community outreach, every dollar empowers a man to rise.

Open meetings where men gather in a judgment-free space to share, listen, and grow. No pressure. No performance. Just brotherhood, honesty, and connection.

Open to everyone. We explore Scripture, wrestle with hard questions, and grow in faith together — deepening our walk and strengthening our bonds as men.

From neighborhood cleanups to cookouts to community givebacks, we serve together. Our events unite men and families around shared purpose and meaningful impact.
Whether you're looking for support, seeking brotherhood, or ready to invest in the future of men and families — we want to connect with you.

President & Founder
As the founder of Men Mending Men and a proud father of four from Milwaukee, Bryan is passionate about helping this city thrive. A former returning citizen himself, Bryan understands firsthand the barriers men face — and the possibilities that open up when the right support is in place. Through Men Mending Men, he guides others in their personal, spiritual, and professional journeys — empowering them to strengthen Milwaukee's future for generations to come.

Chief Operating Officer
With more than 10 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and business consulting, Avery has worked alongside organizations and individuals to bring ambitious goals to life. He brings a deep, practical commitment to supporting men in meaningful ways — especially during seasons of transition. A proud Milwaukee native, Avery is passionate about building spaces where men can grow in every dimension of their lives and step into their own God-given purpose.

Treasurer
A business owner and mentor for more than 42 years, Richard has witnessed God's faithfulness in boardrooms and living rooms as well. In 2018, he felt a strong, undeniable calling to come alongside men transitioning from incarceration through Partners in Hope — an experience that deepened his faith and compassion for every man he meets. Joining Men Mending Men was one of the most natural next steps: walking alongside brothers in healing, in growth, and hope.

Ministry Director
A lifelong Milwaukee resident and Associate Pastor at Ebenezer Ministry & Family Worship Center, Mike co-founded All About Increase — a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth and families across the city. He brings deep spiritual insight, strong community roots, and a genuine love for people to everything he does — grounded in the belief that every man God created carries a unique, God-given purpose that is always worth pursuing wholeheartedly.

Outreach Director
After serving more than 30 years in prison, John found faith, earned an Associate's Degree in Literature and Art, and committed his life to four core values: boundaries, discipline, order, and compassion. He now walks daily alongside men facing homelessness, addiction, and deep isolation — offering his steady presence and hard-won wisdom as living proof that no man is ever truly beyond reach and that full restoration is always possible for every single man.
