Chairman

As the President of Men Mending Men and a proud father of four from Milwaukee, I am deeply committed to helping our vibrant city come together and flourish. I believe that strengthening our communities and nurturing strong relationships with faith are essential to achieving this vision.
Treasurer

Raised in a Christian home with supportive parents, I’ve been happily married to Valerie for 40 years, and we have four grown children who share our faith. With over 42 years of mentoring experience, I’ve seen God’s blessings in my business and employees. In 2018, I felt called to volunteer at Partners in Hope, where I’ve mentored many men exiting incarceration. This experience has enriched my life, and Men Mending Men in the Community aligns perfectly with my spiritual journey.
Program Director
John coburn
After over three decades in prison, I embraced faith and earned an Associate's Degree in Literature & Art. My core traits are boundaries, discipline, order, and compassion—I respect limits, follow God’s guidance, live organized by divine wisdom, and show kindness to others. Running connects me with diverse individuals, including the homeless and those battling substance abuse, allowing me to hear their stories and share in their experiences.
Vice Chairperson
Phil Harvey
I am devoted to my faith and redemption, having transformed my life after 36 years in incarceration. As a mentor coordinator and speaker, I use my experience to inspire and support others. My journey, guided by Jeremiah 29:11, reflects resilience, adventure, and dedication to family and personal growth.

With over a decade of experience in marketing, non-profit fundraising, enterprise management, and consulting, I bring valuable expertise to Men Mending Men. As a founding member, my goal is to foster healthy connections for men in their personal, professional, and spiritual lives, especially during transitions.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, I have a deep appreciation for the city's culture, from its vibrant food scene to the beautiful lakefront. In my free time, I enjoy gardening and spending time with my family.
